ABOUT ISABELLA ANKERSON
A senior news reporter covering business, financial and legal developments in Latin America, with a keen interest in politics and current affairs both in the UK and overseas. I studied at the University of Exeter for four years, graduating with a 2:1 Bachelor\'s Degree in English in 2022 and a Distinction-grade Master\'s Degree in International Relations in 2023. At present, I am a senior reporter for Latin Lawyer and the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA), where I write daily news articles covering significant M&A, capital markets and banking & finance transactions in Latin America, as well as promotions, hires and departures at firms operating in the region. Aside from my daily news reporting duties, I have demonstrable experience writing long-form features, comment pieces, conference reports and data-driven articles, and am actively involved in the annual Latin Lawyer 250 benchmarking research process. I have also organised and hosted roundtable sessions, which brought together experts in the field to discuss trending topics in the global legal and investment markets.
