About Ian Hull
I am a Director of Supply Chain & Operations with a background in data analytics, logistics, and Amazon e-commerce. My journey into supply chain management began during my time as an accounting intern, where I handled supply chain-related tasks. When COVID-19 disrupted global supply chains, I took on the challenge of managing inventory under intense economic pressure, using data analysis to overcome container shortages, rising costs, and operational challenges. As the business stabilized post-pandemic, I successfully transitioned our supply chain strategy to direct delivery to Amazon sites, reducing costs and improving stock availability. I also lead our expansion into Amazon Canada and Walmart, using a low-risk supply chain strategy that supported growth without significant overhead.A major highlight of my career has been recovering over in lost inventory from Amazon, including from Amazon Upstream Distribution, using a self-developed process ahead of industry-standard SOPs. I also led improvements that increased our inventory fill rate to 93% across 700 products.Today, I lead a team across multiple functions, including product development, merchandising, and supply chain. My leadership style focuses on collaboration, mentorship, and using data-driven insights to optimize operations and fuel company growth. I thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and I’m always looking for ways to innovate, reduce costs, and drive efficiency.
