Core Responsibilities - Endpoint Management & Security: Deploying and managing security controls and platforms for endpoint devices (e.g, desktops, laptops, mobile devices) using tools like Microsoft Defender suite, CrowdStrike, and DLP solutions- Automation & Scripting: Automating endpoint management and security tasks using scripting languages (e.g, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles- Infrastructure Support: Ensuring endpoint systems hardware, operating systems (Windows Desktop OS architecture, MacOS, Linux), and software are compliant with security standards, available, and optimized for business use- Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams, to embed security and functionality into architecture and workflows- Policy & Compliance: Supporting compliance initiatives (e.g, PCI DSS, SOX) through implementation of controls, documentation, and evidence collection related to endpoints- Zero Trust Architecture: Contributing to the evaluation, deployment, and tuning of Zero Trust and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) platforms, including validating device health and posture.
