Technology entrepreneur with a track record in the successful introduction of low carbon technologies. Founded Equipmake in 1997 developing novel control systems. This led to the development of a novel electrically driven high speed flywheel energy storage system, spun off into Williams Hybrid Power. Following the acquisition of Hybrid Power by GKN and its successful integration into the GKN Group, I am now focused on growing the technology development activities at Equipmake. We are currently developing high power density motors and power electronics for the automotive and aerospace markets.
