I\'ve come a long way working in the IT industry since 2019 after graduating with a business degree and starting my career as an eager to learn software developer. I have always been keen to understand how businesses work and how they\'re enabled and transformed by technology. My career has progressed from building business support applications, to server administration, rolling out of LAN and global WANs, architecting disaster recovery and business continuity plans, developing data centre managed services to now performing an operational governance role focused on client experience and streamlining global cross-tower service delivery functions.My career progression has always been about going for the new and exciting challenges, embracing opportunities that take me out of my comfort zone and force me to learn new skills, typically in areas of the business that I may not have been exposed to before. I enjoy working with people that I regard as more qualified, that can play a mentor type role, allowing me to learn and grow from their experiences and guidance.
