Responsible for leading McLaren’s Global Suppler Quality & Development (SQD) function.* Global Supplier Quality Leadership: Developing and executing comprehensive supplier quality strategies across a global supply chain of more than 400 suppliers and diverse commodity groups throughout the whole vehicle lifecycle from initial sourcing, through industrialization, series production and after market supply.* Proactive Supplier Development: Implementing robust programs for supplier assessment, selection, and development to ensure a high-performing and reliable supply base prior to, during and post sourcing/industrialization.* Strategic Sourcing Integration: Collaborate closely with sourcing and procurement teams to embed quality requirements and best practices into the supplier selection and onboarding process.* Supplier Performance Management: Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier quality, conducting regular reviews with supplier C-suite leadership teams to develop and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement and response.* Quality Improvement & Escalation: Directing and coaching McLaren and supplier teams in robust root cause analysis and problem-solving for supplier quality issues and developing effective escalation processes to ensure timely resolution and prevent recurrence.* Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and leading a high-performing team of supplier quality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain quality, capacity and delivery risks, implementing proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted supply and product integrity.* Compliance & Standards: Ensure all supplier quality processes and outputs adhere to relevant automotive industry standards (e.g, IATF 16949) and internal quality management systems.
