ABOUT IAN CHAMBERLAIN

I have a passion for technology and enjoy the creative process of delivering applications that delight users, contributing in whatever way I can. I have many years of experience performing a broad range of roles across multiple business sectors. I am an excellent communicator with extensive practical knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture, business process and automation, system integration, development and design principles, patterns, practice and process, with a keen interest in on-going technical advances. I can fulfil different leadership roles on a technology team, including providing project and technology team management, architecture design and guidance, software development technique mentorship, as well as being able to fulfil any other technical role such as Solution Architect, Business or System Analyst, Developer, etc. I have experience with a diverse range of infrastructure from standalone and networked, through datacentre and virtualization scenarios to cloud based systems, including progressing systems and updates through deployment processes from development environments to quality assurance to production and operations management. I have wide experience in the creation of software application solutions, whether developed in whole or part, involving commercial components or systems and integrated into heterogeneous IT landscapes, from analysis and design through to implementation and operation. I can contribute to IT architecture at all levels of an organization, including policy, standard and process definition, landscape analysis, roadmap development and architectural vision, through to detailed functional analysis and project solution design and delivery.
