ABOUT IAN WILLIAMS
My entire working life has been spent within the container industry, beginning with my technical apprenticeship at Metal Box’s Precision Toolroom in the U.K. Metal Box provided me with excellent training, both technical and managerial, which led me to become Manager of their Engineering Design Office. Having obtained a thorough understanding of tool design, I then moved in to the arena of sales and marketing. Taking these skills to a small private company, NV Tools, I developed their sales within the container industry into a world-wide customer base. Using all of the experience gained with Metal Box and NV Tools, in 1998 I started my own business. I now have two businesses, TG Can International Ltd and TG Can Technology (USA) Incorporated, both of which supply the container industry with Cupping Systems, Shell and End Conversion Systems plus R&D support and complete line installations.
