Measuring solutions & machine tool error mapping services by self tracking laser.Mantech Geometrics Ltd aims to provide UK Manufacturing sites with the most cost effective solutions to their measuring needs, or by providing machine tool enhancement services for verification, calibration and/or error mapping of machine tools.Mantech Geometrics Ltd, now offers Mobile Measuring Technology for the calibration measurement and volumetric compensation of deviations on machine tools and CMM\'s. A full machine tool error map can be automatically fed into the latest generation of CNC machine tool controllers to correct machine position through volumetric compensation. Performance improvements of up to 77% have already been achieved using this technology. Performance tests are completed to ISO 230 and ISO 10360 for CMM\'s.Mantech Geometrics also supply world class measuring instruments, including conventional Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s), multi-sensor measuring machines or X-Ray Tomography systems.

Volumetric Error Compensation by Mantech Geometrics, works by mapping the deviations from the ideal motion paths of your machine tool or CMM, using the self tracking laser interferometer from Etalon. The LaserTracer can then be used to reduce the systematic errors of the machine tool by utilising the machine controllers own volumetric error compensation package. Various case studies are available which show that the improvements in performance are significant, in some cases up to a 70% increase in machine accuracy.
