About Ian Rawdon

I am at the core a new product developer. I am predominantly focused on advancing medical devices, but my experiences have also included developing consumer electronics, appliances, and household tools/utensils. I’ve gone from being the entry level go-getter, to the solution designer, to the client facing project lead. In my ten-year professional stretch, I’ve experienced a myriad of projects and roles that have challenged me from so many unique professional angles. Whether if I design the product myself, with a cohesive team, or supporting from afar as a consultant, I’m driven to be the person that just gets your burning needs done. I am also not your ordinary engineer. I’m often confronted with the surprise from customers/clients that I’m just approachable and easy to discuss with. I’ve been a worker since before I was legally allowed to be handed a job offer and I’m one of the very few to get to say that I love what I do on a day-to-day basis because of that head start. I confront my projects with a competitive heart, and I exude that with my team infectiously, to bring out the best collaborator in themselves. I strive to maintain a curious, driven, and positive atmosphere. I wholeheartedly believe that engineers and developers are best when challenged and aware that their job is a practice… we are always learning and improving upon it. I’m just that friendly, local engineer excited to tackle your next challenge…
