Responsible for developing and executing strategies and partnership plans to build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with higher education institutions and local government entities. Key responsibilities include- Strategic Engagement: Identifying and cultivating partnerships with universities, community colleges, and technical colleges to support workforce development, industry engaged research & development, and talent pipeline initiatives relevant to the aerospace and defense industry. Ensuring these members receive value and are integrated into 47G’s activities- Program Development: Creating and managing programs, events, and forums that bring together industry, academia, and local government to foster collaboration, innovation, and address shared challenges- Support Advocacy & Policy Activities, as needed: Tracking members policies, and economic development plans that could impact the aerospace and defense industry. Representing the association\'s interests in relevant public forums and discussions-Effectively communicate the value of the association and its initiatives to academic and local government stakeholders.In addition to these activities, this position support as requested, political communications, etc with the Strategic Initiatives portfolio’s legislative activities.
