The Hive is a Portsmouth charity that connects the VCSE sector across the city. They also provide direct support via community helpdesks, community hubs, technology support as well as being active in the promotion of health and mental wellbeing.I joined the Board of Trustees because I am proud of Portsmouth and the Hive does excellent mostly uncelebrated work giving opportunities and hope to the more disadvantaged communities of our city. I believe my skills and experience can help amplify the work of the Hive and as we head toward devolution and local government reorganisation help the charity to be ready to expand its reach into new areas.
