One of the main parts of my role is deal evaluation and execution. I touch all of the deals that we do in order to drive standardisation and consistency and also to get to know the founders. When possible I like to spend time with the portfolio companies and usually conduct a financial review to sense check the health of the business.As well as this I also (through an outsourced team) look after the day to day financial and operational matters of the fund.

ACA qualified accountant who moved into corporate finance, initially in practice and then joined MessageLabs in 2003. Whilst there led several acquisitions and significantly involved in the disposal of Star and the ultimate sale of the company to Symantec in 2008.One of the founding partners of Notion Capital and the Chief Financial Officer. My role encompasses fund and portfolio management, deal execution and investor relations. Notion currently has 2 active funds and we are in the process of easing our third. I love working with exciting new technology companies and helping them scale rapidly and giving general advice on the challenges that they face.
