Sole company Loss Prevention Officer, until 2018, reporting to Loss Prevention Manager, covering all 35 Dobbies stores across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. From May 2019 until June 2020, role was Acting Loss Prevention Manager, reporting into the FD (maternity cover).Role is to ensure stores and company maintain focus on key Loss Prevention KPIs of shrink, waste, discounts and till loss, through reporting, visits, coaching, stocktakes and carrying out internal LP audit programme. Identify risks and help develop strategies and procedures to ensure stores an company achieve LP budgets and hence deliver profitable P&L.Whilst Acting LPM, the Company doubled in size as we absorbed 5, then a further 31 ex Wyevale garden centres. During this time the LP dept was increased to 5 (with 2 secondees), to help ensure the new teams understood LP procedures in Dobbies, and hence were fully integrated, with all stores having full stocktakes and LP audits.I am currently one of two LPOs, covering East and South regions (34 stores).
