About Ian Loring
Ian Loring is Senior Managing Director and Executive Chair of Haveli Investments. Haveli is a private equity firm focused on the technology industry, including the enterprise software and video gaming sectors. Previously, Ian spent 24 years at Bain Capital, a leading private equity firm with in excess of $100 billion of assets under management and helped found Crosspoint Capital, a start-up private equity firm focused on the cybersecurity market. Mr. Loring has served on numerous corporate boards including ExtraHop, Central Square Technologies, RocketSoftware, Blue Coat Systems, BMC Software and Warner Music Group. He also volunteers for a variety of non-profit organizations, including Chair of the Board of Boston Amateur Basketball Club and member of the Executive Board of Harlem Lacrosse. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ian worked for Berkshire Partners and in the Corporate Finance department of Drexel Burnham Lambert. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Trinity College.
