About Ian Keegan
My name is Ian Keegan. I am from Seattle, WA but I have lived in Taiwan before for 10th and 11th grade. I am half Taiwanese and am fluent in mandarin. My work experience is daycare helper (looked after children, fed, and taught them), cashier (sold food at stands in Climate Pledge Arena), kindergarten assistant teacher at UCDS, facilities worker at UCDS and yard work. On the side I produce music. I am also a model represented by Muse Management. Some strengths of mine are: being personable and able to make healthy relationships through effective communication, able to keep a clear mind and make good decisions under stress or pressure, and I am flexible and able to work in a wide range of positions with a wide range of people. For example, I went to 4 different high schools and made connections with people in a STEM school in Seattle, a buddhist school in Taiwan, an international school in Taiwan, and a school in Seattle. I am an effective leader for in 10th grade I took leadership by modeling for my school and recruiting new students. I would take a bus to different middle schools, talk to the whole incoming freshman class and give them a tour of the school. Also, I have lots of experience in public speaking from that as well as giving speeches to my entire high school.
