ABOUT IAN JOHNSON
I am a former professional footballer turned fostering expert and entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in the social care sector. I have a BA, a Diploma, Post Qualifying Award, and a Practice Teaching Award in Social Work from Bournemouth University, and I am the Owner/Director of Fostering UK, an independent fostering agency that provides quality care and support to children and young people in need. I am also the Director of Simply Fostering Consultancy and my passion is to make a positive difference in the lives of foster carers and foster children, and to help foster agencies improve their standards and practices.
