At Netro Energy, it is my responsibility to manage site operations at seven windfarms across Northern England, North Wales and Scotland, working with multiple clients and OEMs across a variety of different platforms (Enercon, Nordex, SGRE).Duties include:• Planning routine / unscheduled maintenance operations and tracking progress.• Overseeing CDM operations and acting as the PD (principal designer) under CDM regulations.• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance is achieved, including investigating hazardous observations and near miss reporting.• Generating monthly performance reports for the SPV.• Chairing quarterly meetings with the OEMs and third party contractors.• Creating a detailed financial blueprint that forecasts operating costs for the upcoming year.• Monitoring asset performance, investigating underperformance and raising cases with the relevant engineering team.• Tracking and agreeing contractual availabilities with the OEM (liquidated damages and bonuses).• Using multiple OEM SCADA platforms and interpreting data.• Performing regular site inspections and HSQE Audits.• Using Enercon, Nordex and Vestas CT (competent technician) authorisation level statuses to perform turbine inspections.• Organising and overseeing emergency response drills, including the emergency services.• Reviewing maintenance and analysis reports from the OEMs, ensuring all maintenance modules have been completed as per the contract.• Reviewing RA/MS (Risk Assessments / Method Statements) for upcoming non-routine works by the OEM and third party contractors.
