ABOUT IAN HALDENBY
Having had a career path across finance and internal audit, private and public sector, I now have the privilege of creating an in-house Internal Audit service within PIB after leading the Financial Control function since 2018. This has included- Developing a UK based finance function into an international, hub-based service function supporting a business that grew from c£50m to c£500m turnover in 6 years- Establishing a multi-lingual, multi-skilled technical team including taxation, financial reporting, treasury, accounts payable and management accounting- Supporting over 80 domestic and international acquisitions through from assessment to full integration- Leading transformations including implementation of multi-currency ERP systems, transferring Group accounting form FRS102 to IFRS, strategic tax planning and transfer pricing- Now establishing an co-sourced Internal Audit function capable of supporting an international Group in over 12 countriesIn addition to this, over the last 7 years I have developed a non-Exec portfolio including supporting Police and Crime Commisisoners, Local County Councils and Lincolnshire Co-op, a £350m turnover community retailer and service provider.
