I lead by example and set realistic goals for my team to ensure that company and stakeholder expectations are consistently met.Achievements:• Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health• Creation of the system and classification for the inspection of UK Dairy Farms for the Food Standards Agency.• Working at the highest level with Red Tractor Farm Assurance to develop the FSA earned recognition scheme.• Deliverance of major change projects at Cargill covering all policies and procedures and ensuring BRC AA grade and CMI A grade status.• Published a post graduate research paper in the International Journal of Food Microbiology.• Created the statutory testing regime for Raw Cows Drinking Milk for the FSA, drafting FSA operational policy and delivering training on that policy.• Acted as the Food Standards Agency representative during a visit to the UK by the Inspection & Quarantine Bureau of the People’s Republic of China and the EU Food and Veterinary Office.• Created and delivered the Food Standards Agency training on dairy hygiene to operational staff and local authorities across the United Kingdom• Initiated major changes to the food safety and management systems for Cargill resulting in year on year significant reductions in CPMU, Non Conformances and Food Safety Incident Reports.
