I have recently joined TLJ Group as the Compliance Manager, part of TLJ specialise in access control systems with clients in Europe and the USA. TLJ Access Control provide products into many sectors including residential, leisure, PBSA and BTR. We are working to extend that client base across education and health. My main role is to ensure our products are complaint with a raft BS, EN, PAS and initiatives.Working closely with the Fire Door manufacturing companies to create tested and certified fire door sets ready to install in the built environment. Carrying out on site surveys to ensure TLJ\'s products are suitable, fire doors are compliant and providing detailed reports to enhance the golden thread of the building/building safety case if required. Project lead on new services to be announced soon. Building Safety Manager/Senior Fire Safety Compliance Manager for a large Social Housing Association in the Northwest. My role was to lead building and fire safety strategy.I managed 17 HRB with varying levels of complexity and resident profile. Introduced new resident engagement projects. I have introduced a new Supported living / Commercial FRA management procedure and matrix of responsibility. I also have introduced an in house audit process across all building stock. I have restructured the PAS engagement to improve compliance. I have also supported a new fire framework for contractors. In a past career i was a highly motivated Fire Service Manager with over 25 years experience. Committed, hard working and self disciplined with an ability to lead and manage people, projects and incidents. Calm, supportive and encouraging with team members.Extensive experience in delivering training packages, planning campaigns and exercises, leading projects and achieving targets.I was the Officer responsible for Enforcement and Prosecution Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety ) Order 2005. I did lead on the Primary Authority Scheme and actively engaged with Businesses and Organization\'s to increase the portfolio. I have also extensive experience with Joint Partner working. Including the Environment Agency, Local Councils, Housing Associations and Stakeholders. I was a warranted Fire Safety Inspector, I have experience of auditing numerous building types including high rise, petrol and sub surface for fire safety compliance which can lead to follow up actions of either Enforcement, Restriction or Prohibition.
