As a member of the UK Carbon Transportation and Storage Team I work with licensees to steward them through the steps involved in progressing to a carbon storage permit application. I\'m also Technical Lead for Monitoring Plans, which requires a knowledge of the available technologies and the applicability to the different geological settings of the proposed carbon stores, as well as an understanding of any leakage risks. The team is also involved in developing guidance to assist operators in meeting the requirements of the Storage Regulations.
