As a project manager within Thales Real Estate, it is my role to work with sites and staff across the UK to deliver projects which progress the physical sites as well as project which enable business progression within the organisation. Thales Real Estate are allocated an annual budget from the wider Group of which this is divided across a number of projects which we are responsible for delivering. Along with the annual budget, we are also expected to deliver projects from the individual Thales businesses which have their own budgets for improvements. It is my roles to lead initiation meetings to define the scope and then use this information to progress through our internal \"gate\" process to get sign off. This involves everything from contractor onboarding, designs, tender, cost analysis, instruction, construction and handover.Some of my key contributions are as follows- Simultaneously delivering multiple projects across the country- Improved project delivery times enabling the business to progress with internal projects sooners - Delivering projects on time and to the allocated budgets while increasing the overall spec of the deliverables.
