JobsOhio’s mission is to drive job creation and new capital investment in Ohio. A suite of programs and services has been designed to attract business, retain jobs, and help make the choice to expand or relocate here an easy one. JobsOhio and its network partners offer several incentives like grants, loans, and services for companies interested in starting businesses, relocating, or expanding operations throughout the state. We work with businesses and local communities to design personalized incentive packages for success. SITES JobsOhio offers multiple initiatives related to sites and buildings, from revitalization to development-ready and job-ready sites, all with the shared goal of encouraging job creation and capital investment to companies looking to establish or expand operations within our state. Professional Background: Ian Andrew is Senior Manager of North American Business Development at JobsOhio and has over 9+ years of experience in economic development and sales. He has a strong track record in managing business development teams, advancing sales cycles, fostering cross-functional collaboration, implementing data best practices, and developing insightful dashboards to drive ROI for the state and JobsOhio. Ian has worked with notable clients like First Quality Tissue, Tractor Supply Company, Walmart, Medline Industries, Home Depot, M&M Industries, Divert, Nuvo Packaging, Marelli, Herr Foods, Mars, Michigan Metal Coatings, and Propel Pharmacy that resulted in net new attraction project wins for the state of Ohio. From 2016 to 2022, Ian helped close 44 projects resulting in 2,592 jobs,$100.8 million in payroll, and $226.9 million in fixed asset investment into Ohio. With a degree from The Ohio State University and executive education from Northwestern University, he brings a strategic, customer service focused, and results-driven approach to every team and project.
