About Tucker Spofford
I like design thinking but prefer design doing. I am a hands on collaborator, who enjoys working with large and small teams to create impact. I currently lead design at Topaz Labs, previously I headed design systems at Blue Origin and led UX design of Steam deck at Valve.I studied industrial design at Western Washington University before focusing on UX. With a broad range of experience and interests I\'m always looking for new and complex problems to challenge my design and team building skills.Outside of work I am a photographer, maker, and camping trip taker. From campervans to coffee stands I’m always building something. When I\'m not in the lab (our basement kitchen) I\'m usually exploring the great outdoors my partner and our son.
