Responsibilities:Supporting the delivery of both Temporary Works and Permanent Works designs across major infrastructure and water projects. Areas include foundations, slope stability, retaining walls, structural design, drainage, and 3D modelling, with a focus on safe, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions. In this role, I take on greater responsibility for independent design checks, technical coordination, and providing guidance to graduate engineers.Some of the Key Tasks: 1. Independent design and review of temporary and permanent structures. Structural foundations and retaining wall design to Eurocodes. Advanced use of Autodesk Civil 3D for modelling platforms, drainage networks, and corridors. Design and assessment of RC and steel members for both temporary and permanent works. Coordination with project teams, contractors, and clients to deliver cost-effective and sustainable solutions. My experience includes successful project management, BIM implementation, and sustainable construction practices.Technical and Software Skills:I have a strong understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and practical experience with tools like Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Additionally, I am proficient in structural analysis and design software such as and ETABS.Additional Information and Awards:I have received accolades throughout my career, including achieving the second position in a Low-Cost Sanitation project by the National Institute of Urban Infrastructure and Planning (NIUIP) and UNISEF. I also secured the first position in a logo design competition for CIBEA (Center for Industrial Business Energy & Audits).
