About Justin D. Key

Most people are taught to follow a roadmap. I\'ve built my life by paying attention to what consistently pulls at my curiosity. I am an actor, author, professor, and founder of Black Theorem Co. My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, leadership, culture, and human behavior. That curiosity has taken me from Tennessee to Los Angeles, across entertainment, higher education, and global consulting. I\'ve worked in television and film, taught at USC\'s School of Dramatic Arts, written books on mindset and curiosity, and advised leaders and organizations navigating growth, communication, and change. I work with Fortune 500 companies, universities, creative teams, and executives who understand that success alone is not enough. The harder question, the one nobody asks until it\'s urgent, is whether what you built still feels like you once you get there. My approach blends three worlds that rarely exist together in the same room: → The perspective of a performer. → The rigor of a scholar. → The clarity of a strategist. As an actor, I understand presence, communication, and the emotional dynamics of human connection. As a professor, speaker, and Doctor of Business Administration, I translate ideas into practical frameworks people can actually apply. And through Black Theorem Co, I help leaders and organizations think more intentionally about culture, curiosity, leadership, and the stories shaping how they operate. I am the author of Mind Control and The Pursuit of Curiosity, two books centered on mindset, self-awareness, and the discipline of becoming. A third is on the way.    Professional actor with experience across film, television, and national commercial campaigns. Justin’s work includes appearances on Comedy Central, Amazon Prime, and major studio productions, as well as national campaigns for Walmart, Ross, and Burlington.Classically trained at the American Conservatory Theater and AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with continued study at the Howard Fine Acting Studio and Killian’s Commercial Workshop. Known for grounded, authentic performances and the ability to move fluidly between comedy, drama, and commercial storytelling.
