ABOUT IAMI GERBASE
I’m a Brazilian journalist and since 2019, I have been working at an Indigenous rights organisation where I have gained experience in online and offline campaigning and broadened my knowledge of the Indigenous movement. As a writer, several of my articles have been published in outlets, such as Skyscanner, Hostelworld, and Matinal and I have given lectures in cultural centres in Brazil. I graduated in Communications - Journalism from UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil), where I studied the interconnections between politics, religion and social media for my bachelor thesis, available here: https://bit.ly/3FcPYGt.
