Led design for a HealthTech platform that grew from 0 to users with 68% retention, by making clinical complexity feel approachable, not overwhelming. Built design systems that became team infrastructure Components solve the wrong problem if they aren\'t adopted. Built Prism, 60+ WCAG-compliant components across 3 product teams, and MedScope, a token-first iOS/web 100+ design system that went from whiteboard to users in production. 🤖 Designed the interface layer between AI models and the people who use them When a wildfire risk model outputs a probability score, a community member has to know what to do with that number. I designed the chatbot and scorecard flows that made model outputs actionable for non-technical users. That gap between model and human is where most AI products fail, and it\'s where I work. Turned UX decisions into measurable business outcomes Redesigned a donation and scorecard platform through A/B testing and usability research alongside fire officials and community leaders. Result: 32% conversion increase, onboarding up from 60% to 82%, 25% recurring contributions. I code, which means I prototype in React, not just Figma Taught full-stack development (Python, Django, React, TypeScript) to 238 graduate students at University of Michigan. I build prototypes engineers can ship directly, and I can read a PR before I ship a design. Regular hackathon participant, most recently shipping a full-stack AI app in under 12 hours At the Wordware Agent Hack Day, I designed and built Ghost end to end, as both designer and engineer. Research is how I build design intuition, not how I validate it after the fact. At The Understanding Group, I ran research across healthcare, automotive, and enterprise software. The habit that stuck: I frame what I don\'t know before I frame what I\'m building. Outside of work: music producer and DJ under the name Avlnce House, melodic house, progressive house.
