About Hannah Terrell

I work in HR and people operations because I am passionate about building workplaces where people can thrive. In 2013, I was hired as an educator at Lululemon and learned firsthand the power of strategic and clear onboarding and leadership practices. Since then, I\'ve worked to provide that kind of experience (and better!) in each of my positions. I feel sparks of joy when I successfully mediate difficult conversations, implement a newly designed system that better reflects the company\'s mission, or coach leaders through challenging transitions as they lead their teams. Working as an HR department of one in my current role, I\'ve had the opportunity to grow in my ability to adapt and quickly learn new ways of working. I\'m proud to work in a field where I get to balance policy and compliance with creating workplaces where there is room for being human. Though those two things can feel oppositional at times, I believe both can be true and possible and I\'m excited to get to actualize that into systems that make a positive difference —on both the people involved and the bottom line.
