About Blake Deuser

I am a mechanical engineer at HIPP Design and Consulting with over five years of experience in system design, construction administration, and project management. My background spans the full project lifecycle from developing and maintaining P & ID\'s to hands-on involvement in construction and maintenance which gives me a well rounded perspective to deliver successful outcomes.This work is important to me, as I am implementing design knowledge to help pharmaceutical and biomedical labs get on their feet. With all the rising health concerns in the world it is important that we supply the future researchers and scientists with clean, pressurized rooms, proper equipment, and environmentally friendly facilities to perform their work safely.I draw on my experience as a contractor to inform my approach as a designer to ensure that every engineering decision keeps the end goal in focus. I bring both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to every project, blending attention to detail with a big picture perspective to deliver practical, quality solutions.

   Led a site-wide initiative to standardize the naming convention of thousands of components across a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Designed and implemented AFD templates to enable efficient on-boarding of team members with minimal training. Developed comprehensive trainings to ensure the team would be well equipped to handle the task. Established and documented a rigorous, multi-layered quality control procedure to minimize data loss and maintain data integrity throughout the project. Lead a team of up to a dozen members in recreating hundreds of drawings, ensuring strict adherence to the standardized naming conventions and alignment with the project timelines. Created multiple hubs of communication with other disciplines throughout this project.Reviewed submittals and RFI\'s regarding P & ID\'s and the related equipment in a timely manner to ensure schedule demands were met.
