ABOUT IAIN TAYLOR
Graduate of the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art with a Masters Degree in Product Design Engineering. Currently working in medical device design.With strengths in both creative and scientific disciplines I am able to deliver innovative product solutions in response to challenging design briefs.I have a very hands-on approach to design and can communicate ideas quickly by sketching and I am capable of prototyping in foam and cardboard to a high standard. I also have a lot of experience in a range of engineering and design software/CAD packages (mainly SolidWorks/Inventor; KeyShot; Cinema4D and Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign & AfterEffects).I have a keen eye for detail and I\'m skilled with hand tools and machinery across a range of materials (wood, metal, plastic, cardboard and foam). This includes experience in: welding, CNC routers, 3D printing, lathes, vacuum forming, laser cutting, woodworking and metalworking. I also have knowledge of paints, detailing and finishes.
