EPC Project Manager Electricity Transmission New Infrastructure - Overhead Lines and Substations Currently involved with a multi discipline team managing the development of the North London Reinforcement Project (HWUP) which will deliver security of electricity supply to the north London region. The project consists of upgrading of multiple overhead line between Rye House-Pelham-Waltham Cross to Hackney including conductor replacement and upgrading circuits from 275kV operation to 400kV Also included are significant substation upgrades at Brimsdown, Tottenham and Hackney, construction of a new SF6 free GIS substation at Waltham Cross with associated line entry modifications at each location, a cable bypass at Tottenham and extension of Pelham substation to accommodate the installation of 2no MSC’s and 2no 400kV Quad Boosters. Currently at detailed design and procurement stage the project will have a 20••••27 construction period. My personal involvement has been managing the development and progress to contract award of the 2 projects at Pelham 400kV substation and later development and management of the Waltham Cross substation development
