ABOUT IAIN GOUDEMOND
I am a process-driven person, and passionately believe that without clear vision, strong leadership and robust systems, little can be accomplished. This could be why, along with my love for innovation, problem-solving and teaching, I have found myself leading in multiple roles and areas within the same organization over 20 years. While my roles and responsibilities have changed over these two decades, I believe that my success and longevity at Element Six, has been mostly because of my ability to conceptualize problems and implement solutions effectively.Along with that, I am a firm believer in inspiring and assisting others to develop their God-given talents, and am known as a mentor and coach to others in the organization where I see opportunity, even unsolicited when necessary. My education has taught me how to think with a problem-solving mind and how to conduct robust research projects, often necessary when transferring large production technologies and processes from one country to another.(which I literally have accomplished). And, in addition, successfully improving those processes in the transfer, setting up, development and implementation process. What am I doing when I am not deeply engrossed with Senior Management on budgets, finances, facilities and ensuring the culture on site is aligned with the company’s values?I am either enjoying my family life, which involves experimental cooking and storytelling or out on my bicycle taking in the beauty of our amazing country.Personally, I would love to engage in missionary work, as well as mentoring, coaching and teaching others.Professionally, I am looking to connect with CEOs and Senior Management, with a view to shaping an area within their business, and be seen as a leader and partner, rather than just a resource. What that means in reality - I am still formulating and cultivating the dynamics of, and would greatly value a one-on-one conversation around this and other interesting business areas.
