I am currently the advisory lead for one of our largest and most strategic global banking customers, scoping and managing activities involving multiple internal SAS teams and customer resources to align usage of SAS technologies with the customer’s broader strategies (technical and business) and technology ecosystem, and define ongoing modernisation workstreams to be delivered jointly. Prior to my work in banking, I performed the equivalent role for one of our largest public sector customers in the UK.In addition to my external responsibilities, I work with SAS commercial, marketing and R&D teams amongst others, to continually evolve our strategy based on customer feedback, and to maintain and develop our propositions and commercial offerings based on the latest market trends and innovation.

Since 2013 I have worked globally with a variety of organisations to cut through the hype surrounding the use of data. I work with executives, user groups and technical leads to define strategies and use cases that align to business objectives, and technical architectures and programmes to meet these requirements that leverage the latest technologies.From 2001 to 2013, I worked as a consultant on a variety of programmes ranging from strategy definition and organisational design, to delivery and commercial management of technical, business change and migration delivery programmes.From an industry perspective, the bulk of my experience is in energy and utilities, public sector, banking and smart cities. I have further experience in other retail and heavy asset/manufacturing sectors.From a technology perspective my experience covers the full data and AI lifecycle, including data collection and storage; data management and governance; data transformation, analytics and modelling; visualisation; and deployment of analytics and AI within operational systems (Decision Intelligence). From a cloud ecosystem and architecture perspective, my experience covers AWS, Microsoft and Google.
