About Iain Murray
Guardian is a leading provider of affordable, safe and compliant US Gulf of America decommissioning operator and field execution services. We are currently decommissioning 250 wells, 12 platforms and 32 pipelines in Louisiana and Texas federal and state coastal waters, focusing on low-cost (our last 75 wells averaged below BSEE P50), using a team of ~300 highly skilled personnel and >400 capable specialist vendors. Working with Matt Fish and the outstanding team at Xenos Marine, Guardian has secured the for use on all of our projects - together we build removal campaigns and lift assets geographically close, saving our clients $10s of millions. Based in Houston, Texas since 1998, Iain held a number of senior executive, leadership and functional roles during his 25-year industry career with Wood Group and Petrofac and is a member of the New York Bar.
