Leading the world\'s largest and most diverse multi-sectoral alliance to tackle online child sexual abuse and exploitation. On 1 April 2020, WeProtect Global Alliance launched as an independent international institution, with generous support from a range of private philanthropic donors. The Alliance builds on its strong legacy of support from the UK government, where my team has been leading work on the Alliance within the Home Office\'s Tackling Exploitation and Abuse Unit. Since then we have grown and diversified, playing a key role in putting child sexual abuse on the global agenda. WeProtect Global Alliance\'s mission is to work together across our membership to build, engage and support a diverse, child-centred global network with the commitment, knowledge and skills to tackle technology-facilitated child sexual abuse and exploitation. Through convening, knowledge sharing and driving impact, we work towards a vision of a digital world free of exploitation and abuse.

With a dedicated focus on gender equality, my team and I have successfully steered the organization to become independent, affirming our commitment to creating an online world that upholds the rights and safety of every child.
