As the go-to person for managing complex strategic challenges and handling impossible-to-solve problems, I engage my medical knowledge and leadership skills to think several steps ahead and create profitable solutions that optimize talent, surpass patient expectations and reduce costs. Thriving in ambiguous situations and changing environments, I enjoy the challenge of driving a vision to become reality.I have combined over 16 years in surgical practice with 7 years of Executive Leadership experience at the department, hospital, and health system levels, with focus on integration, quality, strategy, innovation, and work culture. I excel in critical thinking, interpersonal skills and change management, and have led successful initiatives and projects such Hand Hygiene (20 point improvement), Physician Engagement (highest improvement in score across the health system), Electronic Health Record implementation for 6 hospitals, clinical leadership of EHR system for an organization of 20 hospitals achieving targets for meaningful use and implementing innovative projects over multiple pilot sites, led the surgical department with over 18 surgical providers, and managed recruitment and contract negotiations with large surgical subspecialty practices.I aim to leverage my current training in business administration and management at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, along with my clinical knowledge and Leadership skills to enhance patient care delivery in an efficient and innovative manner.(The postings on this site are my own and do not reflect the views of my employer)
