About Hye Ji Yang
My name is Hyeji (pronounced “hedgee”), and I am a Junior at Rutgers Business School pursuing a degree in Accounting. I am fluent in both English and Korean, which has allowed me to connect with diverse communities and communicate effectively in professional and personal settings.I originally was on track to major in pre-Health, but my recent experience working as a Billing Manager at a private dental office inspired me to transition into Accounting. That role gave me hands-on exposure to financial operations, problem-solving, and leadership—ultimately sparking my interest in pursuing the CPA license after graduation (eligible May 2028).What motivates me most is the teamwork and sense of fulfillment I gain from contributing to shared goals and seeing tasks through to completion. Outside of academics and work, I am passionate about giving back to my community through volunteer opportunities, which also allow me to grow and gain new experiences.
