Building capacity throughout the organization for adaptive best practices in collaborative leadership and organizational development, performance management, technology adoption, and strategic innovation as a member of the City\'s Senior Staff. As the executive for the Innovation & Performance Office, key areas of responsibility include- Launch and management of the City\'s international testbed program, seed funding grant program, and public-private partnership for emerging technologies and start-ups - the Living Lab - with a 70% lead to pilot development and execution rate- Rollout and sustainment of our CitiStat based performance management and data analytics program, MBStat, complete with fiscal year based departmental performance plans, initiatives, milestones, KPIs, and dashboards, citywide- Launch of our lean six sigma based process improvement Innovation Academy, and certification of five city cohorts annually, delivering hard and soft cost savings, as well as time/process efficiencies (e.g, our 1st Cohort identified $123,589 in cost savings and 3,251 hours/81 work weeks in time saved for staff and customers)- Leading AI governance, adoption, and acquisition, including the advancement of Myrtle Beach\'s smart cities strategy and membership in the national GovAI Coalition- Special projects as assigned, including assisting in public-private partnership negotiations and contract review, priority service delivery improvement workshops and initiatives, policy development, leadership retreats, budget preparation, and municipal research and analysis.
