I have over 25 years of experience practicing general intellectual property law with an emphasis on complex patent and trade secret litigation as well as IP transactions and contract negotiations for mergers, acquisitions and collaborations in pharmaceuticals, biologics, chemistry and AI. Cases I have litigated include those related to proton pump inhibitors, allergy eye drops, anti-epileptic drugs, anti-tussives, antibiotics, injectable microspheres, RNAi products and other pharmaceuticals. I also have extensive experience with IPRs, PGRs, Ex Parte Reexam, intellectual property counseling, pre-suit investigations, licensing and due diligence. I am currently an elected member of the Venable Board, an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Biosimilars, the President of the IP Law Foundation and serve as faculty for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and Lawline.com.And, unrelatedly, I have an NFL focused podcast and am the regular NFL correspondent for a radio station in New Zealand.Specialties: Intellectual Property, Business and IP Transactions, International Law, Hatch-Waxman Litigation (ANDA Litigation), Biologics and Biosimilars.
