Creating adaptive systems, leveraging AI-driven agents, cloud-native patterns, and clean abstractions that keep complexity low and agility high. I believe great architecture is not about control. It’s about enabling innovation through clarity, simplicity, and purpose.

ABOUT BARIŞ GÜLER

I am a software architect and engineering lead focused on designing robust, scalable systems and shipping production-grade platforms using modern software engineering principles. I care deeply about clean architecture, strong abstractions, and building systems that remain understandable and evolvable over time.My work spans full-stack development with a strong emphasis on backend, platform, and systems architecture. I have extensive experience in the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly Node.js, while working comfortably across Rust, Go, Python, and C/C++, choosing each based on performance, safety, and runtime constraints. I regularly operate as a hands-on technical lead, combining architectural design with implementation of critical system components.I specialize in event-driven and distributed systems for web and mobile environments. My interests include CQRS, event sourcing, message-based architectures, offline-first design, and progressive web applications, with a strong focus on performance, correctness, and long-term maintainability. I favor pragmatic, production-oriented solutions over theoretical purity. In recent work, my focus has shifted toward AI-adjacent infrastructure and runtime systems, including agent-based architectures, event-driven agent communication models, and WebAssembly-centric execution environments. I am particularly interested in using Rust and WASM to build secure, high-performance agents and services that run across servers, edge, and browser runtimes.I have hands-on experience designing systems backed by PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, deploying production workloads on AWS and GCP, and building platforms that integrate messaging, streaming, and real-time data flows. I actively explore polyglot runtimes, WASM-based microservices, and agent orchestration, especially where they intersect with modern AI workflows.Collaboration is central to how I work. I value clear communication, architectural clarity, and iterative delivery, and I have extensive experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, helping them build strong technical foundations and sound engineering judgment. At my core, I am driven by curiosity, systems thinking, and the challenge of turning emerging technologies into reliable, well-engineered software.
