ABOUT HUZAIFA BABAR
DevOps Engineer with 8+ years experience in multiple domains within the IT industry, including (but not limited to) Cyber Security, AI/ML, Software Development and Game Development.I bring ideas, answers and efficiency. I\'m currently working as a Senior DevOps Software Engineer for Cognex Corporation. Previously, I have worked as the Lead DevOps Engineer in an upcoming cyber security company. The thing I like about being a Lead is whenever I have ideas (which is quite often), I can work on bringing them to life. Around 20% of my day is spent on training and mentoring junior engineers and the rest of it is spent on researching and implementing ways to increase efficiency.I love getting my hands dirty and digging deep into documentation (and stack overflow threads) to resolve issues. My favorite part of the SDLC is; after I\'ve set everything up, I can spend time on making it better and/or fixing problems.Other than my technical skills, I am also fluent in both written and verbal English and currently attempting to gain fluency in the German language as well. My (ex) managers say I have an \"interesting\" work ethic. Maybe having a passion for what you do helps you do it with more gusto.Core skills & competencies:Docker, KubernetesCI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity, BuildBot, CodePipeline, Bitbucket Pipelines)Google Cloud Platform (GCP): GKE, IAM, VPC, Compute, Cloud Functions, GCS, GCR, Monitoring, Metrics, AlertsAmazon Web Services (AWS): VPC, IAM, EKS, Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudFormation, Inspector, RDS, SCT, DMSTerraform, Ansible, Infrastructure as CodeHelmDB: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, MySQL, OracleDB, MSSQLPython, Java, C#Bash, scriptingElasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beat (ELK)Prometheus, GrafanaRabbitMQ, KafkaRedisNGINX IngressLinux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
