About Michelle Huynh

I’m a mission-driven public health professional with a Master of Public Health in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences and a certificate in Social Determinants of Health from Emory University. I bring deep academic and applied experience in designing and evaluating culturally responsive health promotion initiatives that address the root causes of health disparities—particularly among underserved and minority communities. My background spans a wide range of experiences including community needs assessments, stakeholder engagement, wellness program development, and digital health communications. I’ve supported initiatives at organizations such as the CDC, ICF Next, and nonprofit partners, where I helped lead data-driven health campaigns, coordinated virtual events and webinars, and developed educational content that is evidence-based and accessible. I\'m especially passionate about using clear, inclusive communication to promote health equity and improve outcomes. I’m skilled in managing content calendars, writing and editing public health content, and translating research findings into actionable strategy. I have also worked cross-functionally with public, nonprofit, and academic partners on project planning, data analysis, and performance tracking. Currently, I’m exploring the intersection of climate and health, with a strong interest in advancing health literacy and sustainable approaches to public health. I’m also deeply committed to addressing chronic diseases, improving health outcomes for immigrant and refugee populations, and tackling the social determinants of health through inclusive, evidence-based health promotion.
