Head of Repairs & Maintenance UK & I for brands including Premier Inn, Hub by Premier Inn, Zip, Beefeater, Table-Table, Bar+Block, Whitbread Inns & Brewers Fayre. I am responsible for all design, maintenance and installations for Building Fabric, Services (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental and Public Health Services), Security Systems (Inc CCTV ), Environmental Systems, access agreements including control of revenue and capital investment budgets. This is across the entire Whitbread Estate in c840 Hotels, 440 restaurants, 800 Flats, 85 Play centres & 65 External play centres. Ensuring the Whitbread support estate is meeting all buildings, services, Health & Safety & environmental statutory obligations, property agreements & best practices for all of its sites including local, national and European legislation. Liaison with internal and external parties re-property/tenancy and legal issues concerning the use of the land/property. With a drive to reduce Whitbread support estate liabilities. Inclusive of the Local Councils, Environmental Health Officers, Health & Safety Executive, Local Authorities and internal/external clients.
