My TL;DR Career Identity. I am a Game Producer with 25 years experience helping teams make epic entertainment experiences. My greatest strength is collaborating and driving efficiencies across teams and I have a talent for finding small changes that can make a big impact. I am passionate about empowering people through play rooted in scientific method. I value collaboration, curiosity, authenticity, and having fun while making games as part of a team.Gory details for the neurospicy (like me!): As a mentor of producers, project managers, and team members in game development and production, I am passionate about building productive teams. I have been working on epic gaming experiences in some capacity since 1998; while playing them avidly since 1978. I have worked in testing, localization, operations, management along side some of the best in the industry. My nerd cred also includes post-graduate levels of table-top RPG gaming, with a minor in board gaming experience.I strive to be an agent for continual improvement for myself, my team, our process, and our products, using Kaizen methodology. While I shoot for perfection, I believe that achieving ideal solutions requires steady, measurable progress, and difficult daily decisions. Also alliteration always. I am generally enthused by anything having to do with being clever and getting things done. I value transparency, honesty, accountability, collaboration, a sense of fun, a moderate amount of laziness, emotional intelligence, high levels of integrity, and common sense. I hope you do, too!
