ABOUT HUSSIEN SALAMA
Hussien was born and raised in northwest Georgia and went to high school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated in Chicago, Illinois with a degree in multimedia journalism. After doing digital video at the he returned to Chicago to work on a project chronicling the mayoral race. Hussien was a videographer and video editor for Pete For America where he created and executed a strategy for hyper-local social ads. He was the Lead Video Producer at the Jon Ossoff for Senate campaign producing viral videos on multiple platforms. He currently works at the Department of Education as the Traveling Digital Director. Hussien’s been making multimedia content for the past decade in either a personal or professional setting with a desire to promote progressive politics.
