I work at the interface of operational hydrology, environmental modeling, and data-driven forecasting, contributing to the development and implementation of large-scale hydrological systems for research and real-world early warning applications.• Lead the development and continuous improvement of operational hydrological models and forecasting workflows • Contribute to Early Warnings for All (EW4All) by supporting science-based early warning and risk reduction efforts • Advance impact-based forecasting by linking hydrological hazards to potential societal and environmental impacts • Coordinate modeling activities across projects, ensuring scientific robustness and operational usability • Contribute to drought and soil moisture prediction research using long-term datasets and advanced statistical methods • Bridge research and operations by translating scientific methods into applied forecasting and decision-support tools • Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams on hydrological forecasting, model evaluation, and climate risk assessment My work focuses on strengthening predictive understanding of hydrological extremes and supporting the development of impact-oriented early warning systems to improve preparedness and response.
