About Hunter Pruett

I am a recent PhD graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on origami-inspired and compliant mechanisms (https://compliantmechanisms.byu.edu/). I have had the opportunity to work on and lead various design projects including origami-inspired adult diapers, deployable origami-inspired reflectarray antennas, and novel surrogate folds. I\'ve been involved in the publication of several peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers and I love to work in teams on mechanical design projects. I aim to use my design background and training to tackle complex problems in various disciplines.
