   I am a certified and Level 1 Technician.•Run quality control testing on a variety of asphalt mixes in a lab setting. I will run anywhere from 1 to 6 tests daily, dependent on how much the plants are producing that day. •In lab testing I do include everything from set up of testing (getting mixes from back of trucks and then getting all other materials prepped and ready to go), splitting and quartering samples, running the appropriate tests. These include rices, burns (with an NCAT oven), and making pills. •I am also very familiar with running extractions on mixes as well as RAP (recycled asphalt pavement). •I have been out in the field and am able to use a non-nuclear density gauge.•I frequently perform gradations, testing Gsb and checking moistures of our aggregates. •I am able to analyze the data collected from our mixes after I have ran them and get the test results to help my QC director make adjustments to mixes. •I have done testing on INDOT mixes as well. •Use Excel worksheets on the daily to collect and track the data from our mixes. •Starting to take on more responsibilities and learning more about how to make mix designs and what all that entails.•This season I will be learning as well as performing coring and then taking cores back to run tests on them.•I am able to make mix changes/adjustments at the plants.
